FutureBridge Foundation is a registered charity committed to improving educational outcomes, employability and life opportunities for children and young people across England.

We work with schools, colleges, universities, employers, community organisations and volunteers to help young people develop the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to make informed decisions about their futures.

Our work supports young people throughout their educational and career journeys, from exploring aspirations and career options to progressing into higher education, apprenticeships and meaningful employment.

FutureBridge Foundation was registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales on 24 July 2026. The charity was founded in 2026 and operates as a Foundation-model Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).

 

Imran Mir is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FutureBridge Foundation. He is responsible for the organisation's overall strategic direction, leadership and partnerships. His areas of expertise include education leadership, mentoring, careers and employability, student progression, widening participation and educational development.

 

FutureBridge Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees. Zahid Iqbal serves as Chair of Trustees, alongside Imran Mir, Dr Ali Salas Iddi and Dr Syed Haider Ali Zaidi as charity trustees. The trustees provide governance and oversight, while the operational leadership team supports the charity's day-to-day delivery.

 

FutureBridge Foundation primarily supports children and young people across England and Wales, with particular emphasis on those facing disadvantage or barriers to education, training or employment. Priority groups include young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, first-generation university applicants, young carers, care-experienced young people, refugees and asylum seekers, disabled and neurodivergent young people, underrepresented communities and young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).

 

FutureBridge Foundation operates throughout England and Wales. Programmes can be delivered through schools, colleges, sixth forms, universities, community venues, employer premises and online. The Foundation works through partnerships with education providers, employers, communities and other organisations.

 

FutureBridge Foundation provides a range of programmes designed to support young people's educational and career progression. These include careers education, mentoring, employability support, university and higher education guidance, apprenticeships and alternative pathways, leadership and personal development, employer engagement, school and college programmes, university partnerships and digital learning support.

Programmes may include CV development, interview preparation, career planning, employer presentations, workplace visits, mentoring, university and UCAS guidance, apprenticeship guidance, leadership workshops, communication and teamwork development, and professional networking.
