Our commitment FutureBridge Foundation believes that opportunity should be accessible to everyone. We celebrate diversity and are committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in everything we do — from how we recruit trustees, staff and volunteers, to how we design and deliver our programmes for young people.
Scope This policy applies to trustees, staff, volunteers, mentors, partners and the young people we support.
Our approach
- We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment or victimisation on the basis of any protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010, including age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity
- We actively work to remove barriers that prevent young people — particularly those from disadvantaged, underrepresented or additional-needs backgrounds — from accessing our programmes
- We make reasonable adjustments to ensure our services and workplace are accessible
- We provide equal opportunities in recruitment, training and progression for staff, trustees and volunteers
Raising a concern Anyone who experiences or witnesses discrimination in connection with our work should raise it via our Complaints Policy or directly with the Board of Trustees.
Review This policy is reviewed annually by the Board of Trustees.
