Dr. Haider Zaidi

Dr Haider Zaidi serves as a Trustee of FutureBridge Foundation, providing independent guidance and governance to help ensure the charity delivers meaningful opportunities and lasting outcomes for young people. As a member of the Board, he supports the Foundation’s long-term vision by promoting accountability and sustainable organisational growth.

An economist and higher education professional, Dr Zaidi has extensive experience in teaching, research, student support and academic mentoring. He currently serves as a Teaching Fellow in Economics, where he supports students through teaching, assessment and academic development. His research interests include energy economics, environmental economics, international trade, applied macroeconomics and econometrics. Prior to his current role, he gained experience across teaching, research and the banking sector, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on education, professional practice and organisational responsibility. Recognised for his commitment to student success, Dr Zaidi was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic and Professional Practice with Distinction in 2026.

Passionate about education and lifelong learning, he believes that knowledge, opportunity and strong support networks can empower young people to achieve their aspirations. As a Trustee, he is committed to helping FutureBridge Foundation create lasting social impact by supporting initiatives that strengthen education, employability and community development.
